How 1EdTech Members Power Learner Potential
For Greenville County Public Schools, a 1EdTech membership means being able to prepare for the future while building up their digital ecosystem now. By working with the 1EdTech community and standards, they can better consider future needs, and prepare for those needs during the procurement process. A future-forward mindset, and leveraging interoperability, allow the district to stay innovative and react to evolving technology challenges as they create an ecosystem that fits the needs of teachers and students.

The 1EdTech community helps you consider that state and brings experience, so you know what you need to ask for and create a multi-year plan.”
Being able to see how a student is progressing through specific academic standards, through the CASE Network, not only allows Greenville County Public Schools to help that student, but it also allows the district to better assess its digital tools, its curriculum and make data-driven decisions to improve teaching and learning. That’s why the district works to ensure edtech suppliers follow interoperability standards so they know the tools will work well together and provide the district with the data it needs.
“We need our vendors to be able to dump data in our warehouse every night, so we can get the picture of the whole child. We also want to be sure the tools we purchase are helping those students learn and do what they claim to do. If they aren’t, we know we need to make changes.”
